Amanda is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst currently serving clients and their families in the Northern Virginia area. Amanda has worked with Continuum Behavioral Health since 2014, working with clients from 4 to 18 years of age with varying behavioral and skill acquisition needs. Before becoming a BCBA, Amanda worked as a Registered Behavior Technician for four years, providing 1:1 direct therapy with clients with Autism Spectrum Disorder.
Amanda earned a Bachelor of Science in Human Development at Virginia Tech and a Masters of Education with a certificate in Applied Behavior Analysis from George Mason University.
Currently, as a BCBA, Amanda supervises Registered Behavior Technicians, offers caregiver training and provides 1:1 direct therapy. Amanda is passionate about disseminating the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis to caregivers and Registered Behavior Technicians to ensure best practices are used and to improve the lives of her client’s and their families.
