Denise Malik Ochoa is a Licensed Board Certified Behavior Analyst that has served in the field of ABA since 2013. She and her husband have relocated from Southern California along with their 4 dogs. Denise received her Master’s degree in education with a specialization in child development from California State University, Long Beach and earned a post-graduate certificate in ABA. Prior to her career as a BCBA, she started-up multiple preschool programs including facility design. Additionally she has served over 20 years as a volunteer at her church working with adults with special needs. She was responsible for implementing an early intervention program and has provided services both in-home and in the school setting. She is a thoughtful collaborator of services in individual treatment programs and has successfully delivered social skills programs via TeleHealth. Additionally, she is well-versed introducing AAC programs for functional communication and works well with clients of all ages. Denise’s professional interests also include parent education to provide the tools and consistency families need for a successful program. When she’s not working, you can find her getting creative with gardening, home décorating or out on the lake enjoying nature.
