Janica was born and raised in Frankfurt, Germany. She moved to the United States at the age of 16 where she attended an international diplomacy school in New Mexico and completed her International Baccalaureate with a focus in Chemistry, German, and Music. She continued her schooling at Highlands University, New Mexico and earned her Bachelor of Arts in 2011 majoring in Psychology and minoring in Print Making. After her undergraduate schooling, she decided to gain work experience in the mental- and behavioral health field and worked with a wide variety of demographics including trauma care, addictions counseling, wilderness therapy, dialectical therapy, and special needs education. She gained her Master of Science degree in Applied BehaviorAnalysis and Psychology from Purdue Global University in 2018. Janica passed her Board Certification exam in February of 2019. She has dedicated her career path to Applied Behavior Analysis practices since 2014 and has worked as a Clinical Supervisor, Parent Trainer, Registered Behavior Technician’s Coach, and Vocational Specialist since then. She has experience working with clients ranging from the age of 13-month to adulthood and has worked in clinical settings, the home environment, and the community. In her free time, Janica will hike, draw, meditate, snowboard, work on her van and play board games.
