Ms. Mallory Smith is a licensed and Board Certified Behavior Analyst. She attended Middle Tennessee State University where she received a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Elementary Education K-6 and subsequently earned her Master’s degree in Early Childhood Special Education, with an emphasis in Behavior Analysis, from Vanderbilt University. Mallory became Board Certified in January of 2013 and has provided family-centered services to young children with and without disabilities in a wide variety of settings. Her interests in the field include early language development, family and parent training, developing partnerships with schools to provide inclusive social skills groups, and building networks of special education advocates as a resource for families. When Mallory is not working, she enjoys spending time with her family and two rescue dogs, Solito and Layla. Mallory is a scuba diver and spends as much time as possible in the sun and water. She is passionate about environmental issues especially as they relate to ocean ecosystems.
