Skyler is a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst. She is a graduate from Florida State University, where she received her Master of Science degree in Applied Behavior Analysis. She has worked with individuals on the spectrum and other developmental disabilities for eight years across multiple environments: in-home, center, community, and school settings with all ages. Some of Skyler’s professional interests include early intervention, functional communication, behavior reduction, daily living skills, and social skills groups.

Her passion for helping others with disabilities started when she met Jordan, a friend who was in the special education class she was helping in. She petitioned for Jordan to make the homecoming court and she made it! Jordan was stunning, and this life-changing moment sparked her interest in researching more about autism and the field of Applied Behavior Analysis!

Her favorite thing about working in the field is seeing meaningful change in the lives of the families and clients she serves. One of her favorite quotes is: “If they can’t learn the way we teach, we teach the way they learn.” She loves being able to learn more about the field of Applied Behavior Analysis and applying what she learns to help those around her because ABA changes lives!
