Continuum Behavioral Health serves Northern Virginia, including Fredericksburg, Fairfax, Arlington, Falls Church, Prince William and Loudoun Counties, as well as the City of Alexandria and the City of Manassas. In Maryland, we serve Montgomery, Prince Georges, Howard, Baltimore, Harford, Cecil, and Anne Arundel Counties. During the assessment process, each child receives a comprehensive functional assessment that identifies core deficits and problem behaviors that may be interfering with the child’s ability to learn and participate in daily life at home, school and in the community. Every child’s program is individualized to meet his or her needs, learning style and guided by what is developmentally expected.

Anya is a Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst with a Bachelor of Art’s degree in Psychology from Marymount University. She completed her post baccalaureate coursework in Applied Behavior Analysis at Florida Institute of Technology. She has 5 years experience providing 1:1 therapy to children with special needs in home and school based settings. In her free time Anya enjoys traveling and outdoor activities.
Bethany Deitz, M.S., BCBA
Clinical Director
Bethany began her career in ABA in 2013 and joined Continuum in 2018 as a Senior Consultant. She has worked with children and adults with disabilities in a variety of settings to include: schools, private family homes, sheltered workshops, state hospitals and community-based group homes. Bethany has presented at the state and international levels on Work and Home Based Interventions for An Adult with Mental Illness. During her time working in residential care, she created, systemized and replicated programs geared towards adaptive skill acquisition and increasing independence. Prior to her work in human services, she had extensive supervisory experience in the fields of health care, education and operations. Bethany earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Old Dominion University and her Master’s Degree in Applied Behavior Analysis from Shenandoah University.
Cathy Jones, Ph.D., BCBA

Dr. Jones has worked with autistic individuals for over 20 years. She has a Ph.D. in Applied Developmental Psychology form Claremont Graduate University. She received her Bachelor and Master of Arts degrees in Psychology from Wesleyan University. Dr. Jones has assisted clients in homes, schools (public and private), and in treatment and research clinics.
Keira Moore, PH.,D, BCBA-D, LBA

Dr. Moore has been working with individuals with autism and related disorders for over 15 years in many different settings including residential, clinic-based, home-based, and telehealth. For the last 8 years she has specialized in the assessment and treatment of childhood sleep problems, especially in children with autism and related disorders. She earned her Ph.D. in Behavior Analysis in 2015 from Western New England University, and prior to that, earned a Master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis from Northeastern University. She began her career training with some of the best clinicians and researchers in the field at the New England Center for Children, a world-renowned school for children with autism. In addition to clinical work, Dr. Moore also teaches in Regis College’s online masters in ABA program, consults, and conducts staff training and continuing education seminars for companies all over the world. In addition to focusing on sleep problems, she specializes in treating severe challenging behavior (e.g., aggression, self-injury, tantrums) through functional analysis and functional communication training.

Lauren Faust is a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst. She received her Bachelor’s degree in Sociology: Family & Demography from the University of Maryland. During this time she assisted teachers in pre-school and kindergarten inclusion classrooms. She later obtained her Master’s in Education in ABA from Ellicott College and has been in the ABA field since 2017. Her professional training includes working with individuals diagnosed with ASD in multiple environments: in-home, daycare, community and school setting with all ages. One of Lauren’s professional areas of interest is in Early Intervention. She is passionate about children receiving ABA as soon as possible and incorporating families as a critical part of the treatment process to allow for greater success.
Anh-Tram “Chum” Newcomb, M.S., BCBA

“Chum” has a Bachelors of Arts degree from Wheaton College, MA and is currently enrolled in the Masters of Science in Applied Behavior Analysis at Northeastern University, Boston, MA. She previously worked with adults with ASD and other disabilities at the Cove Center, RI, providing relaxation therapy, teaching daily living skills, administering vocational assessments, and providing employment support and training. Chum also served as Senior Teaching Assistant in the Autism Program at The Ivymount School in Rockville, MD. There she worked with children in the 1:1 and small group setting with ages 8 to 17 providing ABA/VB instruction, as well as providing staff training and supervision. She also has extensive experience providing ABA/VB instruction in the residential setting to individuals on the spectrum from ages 3 to 56. Her professional interests include providing effective data-driven treatment plans for behavior intervention and skill acquisition, early intervention, and shaping language through natural environment teaching.
Meghan Hoffman, M.Ed., BCBA

Ms Hoffman has worked with individuals on the autism spectrum for 20 years. She received her Masters in Special Education with a specialization in Applied Behavior Analysis from George Mason University in 2006 and is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst. She worked as a teacher and supervisor at The Ivymount School for 11 years serving students aged 5 through 21. She has also served as an Adjunct Professor at George Mason University teaching graduate level coursework approved by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board and supervised graduate students in their internships through The University Practicum Program. Meghan continues to provide consultative services to families and schools, working with students aged 2 through 26. In addition to her role as consultant and professor, she provides trainings and workshops to schools and organizations throughout Maryland, DC, and Northern Virginia.

Ms. Brittney Spiker is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst. She received her Bachelor’s degree in Social Work from Frostburg State University where she completed her undergraduate internship at the Allegany County Infants and Toddlers Program. She went on to obtain her Master of Art’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis from Ball State University, and is currently studying for her Master’s of Science in Early Childhood Special Education from Johns Hopkins University. Her professional training includes working as a teacher in the Autism Program at the Ivymount School, as well as, providing and supervising home-based ABA programs for children with autism. Her professional interests include early intervention, effective classroom instruction for children with autism, and functional communication.
Becky Gruetzmacher, M.Ed., BCBA

Becky Gruetzmacher is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst who is passionate about providing evidence-based interventions to children with developmental delays and their families in order to improve their quality of life. Becky has extensive experience providing behavior services to individuals with limited language repertoires, self-injury, and medical complexities. After growing up with a sister with autism, Becky began working in the field of special education in 2001 at the Lighthouse Center of CT, where she supported students who were too aggressive to remain in the public schools and organized social groups for adults with intellectual delays. She has worked on a psychiatric unit and managed a group home for adults with intellectual delays. Becky received her initial training in ABA in 2006 through the Lovaas Institute. She earned both her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Special Education from the University of Maryland in 2008 concentrating on the education of individuals with severe disabilities. After working in the field for many years, Becky completed the post-master’s program in Applied Behavior Analysis at George Mason University in 2014. Since earning her Board Certification in 2015, Becky has provided clinical supervision in the in-home setting and was serving as the director of ABA for the Northern Virginia location of an in-home agency prior to joining Continuum as a Senior Behavior Analyst.
Becky is an active member of the Virginia Association for Behavior Analysts, Association of Professional Behavior Analysts, and Association for Behavior Analysis International. In addition to participating in research funded by the NIH, Becky has been an invited speaker for a state training for the Virginia Department of Blind and Vision Impaired. When she is not working or attending conferences, Becky enjoys volunteering for Girl Scouts, volunteering for a community respite program, and spending time with her four children, one of whom has significant developmental and medical complexities.
Taylor Jodrie, M.Ed., BCBA

Taylor is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst with a Master of Education degree in Special Education and a certificate in Applied Behavior Analysis from George Mason University. She has also earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Community Health from George Mason University. Taylor has four years of experience working with individuals with Autism Spectrum disorders and other developmental disabilities in the field of Applied Behavior Analysis with Continuum Behavioral Health. She is grateful to have the opportunity to provide individualized programming and behavior intervention plans to help her clients and families to maximize their capabilities.

Ms. Koliofotis is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst with over ten years’ experience working with children ages 2-17 with Autism Spectrum Disorder. She completed her Master in Special Education with an emphasis in Applied Behavior Analysis through Penn State University. She is also an alumna of University of Maryland, having received her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology in 2006. In addition to early intensive behavioral intervention and functional communication training with early learners, Vas is passionate about working with teens and parents navigating Acceptance and Commitment Therapy.

Megan is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst who received a Masters degree in Special Education with a specialization in Applied Behavior Analysis from George Mason University. She has worked with individuals on the spectrum and other developmental disabilities for nearly ten years. Her interest in behavior analysis developed while she studied her undergraduate degree at Liberty University. She joined Continuum’s team in 2016 as a Behavior Technician before moving into a senior consultant position in 2020. In her free time, Megan enjoys integrating her passion for education and travel through humanitarian efforts in impoverished countries around the world. Her experience in cross-culture environments has given her a unique opportunity to appreciate cultural diversity and develop a cultural responsiveness to diverse populations. Additionally, Megan is an advocate for suicide prevention and works with several non-profit organizations to raise awareness in Virginia on the importance of teaching evidence-based suicide prevention programs in schools and in communities.
Megan is an active member of the Virginia Association for Behavior Analysts, Association for Contextual Behavioral Science, American Foundation for Suicide Prevention, Mental Health America, and the National Alliance for Mental Illness.
Raya Mutti-Roberts, M.Ed., BCBA

Raya is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst with a Masters Degree in Special Education and a specialization in Applied Behavior Analyst from George Mason University. She has worked with individuals on the spectrum and other developmental disabilities for eight years. She joined Continuum’s team in 2015 as a Behavior Technician and then moved into a Senior Consultant position in 2018. Raya’s professional interests include research in stimulus equivalence, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and functional communication training. Her interests in the field continue to grow as fast as the field itself. She will continue to find exciting, evidenced-based interventions to help her clients and their families live their best lives.

Sylvia Perry is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst and has been working in the field since 2014. Due to being a part of a military family, Sylvia has spent her career providing ABA services in multiple states across the country to children with Autism Spectrum Disorder ages 2-17, in both a clinical and in-home setting. Sylvia earned her B.S in Social Psychology from Park University and earned her M.A in Applied Behavior Analysis with an emphasis in Autism at Ball State University.

Nita is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst who completed her BCBA coursework through Penn State University. She has a Masters in Counseling Studies from Capella University and a Bachelors in Psychology from Messiah College. She has over 10 years of experience working with a variety of special needs students ages 2-22 in school, home, and community settings across Pennsylvania and Maryland. Nita’s enjoys using each student’s interests to help them find their own level of independence for each of their environments. She has extensive experience in training and directly collaborating with families, schools, and local organizations. Her passion is to spread awareness of techniques that work for special needs students while also helping communities embrace and work successfully with these types of learners.

Maura is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst with a Master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis from Ball State University. She has over 10 years of experience working with individuals with a variety of developmental and intellectual disabilities between the ages of 3 and 71 years of age. She also serves as a Continuing Education Instructor to adults with disabilities through a local community college. Maura is passionate about assisting students in finding a voice that has not always been clear to those around them and assisting them in becoming more independent throughout their daily lives.

Kellie has a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from George Mason University. Additionally, Kellie obtained a Masters of Education in Special Education degree in conjunction with a Graduate Certificate of Applied Behavior Analysis from George Mason University. Kellie has worked with individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorders or other developmental disabilities for 6 years. She has served as both as a special education teacher in the public school setting for 3 years and as a behavior technician in the home setting with Continuum beginning in 2013. She is actively pursuing supervision to complete requirements to sit for the Board Certified Behavior Analyst Certification Board exam. Kellie’s professional interests include functional communication training, daily living skills, and teaching leisure/play activities in the natural environment.

Lisa Starr is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst serving clients and their families in Maryland. She received her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with a concentration in Abnormal Psychology and American Sign Language from McDaniel College and her Master of Arts in Behavior Analysis from Ball State University.
Lisa entered the field of Applied Behavior Analysis in 2014, providing 1:1 services to children with Autism Spectrum Disorders and other Developmental Disorders in the school setting. Since then, Lisa has provided 1:1 services within the home, community, and school to clients with varying needs, ranging from 21 months – 21 years of age. As a BCBA, Lisa specializes in providing behavior analytic services, such as individualized treatment implementation, parent and family training, educational meetings with schools,and training and supervision of Registered Behavior Technicians.

Jackie Cunningham, MA., BCBA, LBA

Jackie is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) who joined Continuum Behavioral Health in December of 2019. She has been working in Northern Virginia as a BCBA since 2017 and has been working in the field since January of 2011. Miss Cunningham earned her bachelor’s degree in Psychology in 2011 at West Virginia University. While working on her undergraduate degree she started in the field of ABA while assisting a doctoral student with her research on Vocal Variability in children with Autism. This experience sparked Jackie’s interest in the field and she began working at the Center for Excellence in Disabilities in the intensive Autism Clinic. After completing her bachelor’s degree she continued to work for the intensive Autism Clinic as a graduate assistant supervisor while working on her master’s degree. While completing her master’s degree, she also completed the WVU Center For Excellence in Disabilities Leadership Education in Neurodevelopmental Disabilities (LEND) program where she worked with a multidisciplinary team helping children with feeding and swallowing difficulties, communication deficits, and children and families going through transitional periods in their lives. In 2015 Jackie earned her master’s degree completing the Behavior Analysis in Autism Certificate at University of Massachusetts Lowell. In February of 2017 she received her Board Certification in Applied Behavior Analysis. For the past 9 years, Jackie has been providing ABA services to children in homes and in clinic settings who have been diagnosed with autism spectrum disorders, intellectual disabilities, and genetic disorders.

Chrissy McLallen is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst who earned her Master’s through Ball State University with specializations in Autism and Applied Behavior Analysis; she earned her Bachelor’s degree in early childhood intervention through Mount Union College. Chrissy has been working professionally with children and young adults since 2012 when she began her career as a special education teacher in an early childhood classroom setting as well as an intellectual disabilities inclusion classroom setting. She joined the Continuum team as a Registered Behavior Technician in 2015 before becoming a behavior analyst.

Christina Pocius is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst with a license in Virginia. Christina is originally from Baltimore, Maryland receiving her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology at Towson University. From there, Christina moved to Chicago and obtained a Master’s degree in Social Work with a specialization in Child and Family. She began working in a the field of ABA in 2012 and obtained her BCBA in 2015. Christina has worked with children on the autism spectrum ranging from 2-20 years old. Professional interests include early intervention, decreasing rigidity, daily living skills, and functional communication.

Megan is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst with a Master’s in Education specified in Applied Behavior Analysis from Arizona State University. Megan started ABA in 2016 upon moving from Michigan to Virginia and began her Master’s in Summer of 2017. At Central Michigan University during undergrad she obtained a Bachelor’s of Science in Communication Disorders with a minor in American Sign Language.
Megan has experience working with clients with varying needs for support between the ages of 2-16 years of age. Settings worked in include home, clinic, community and school. She is passionate about functional communication, early intervention, activities of daily living, functional assessment, and problem behavior reduction.
Katrina Combs, M.S., BCBA

Katrina Combs is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst who earned her Master’s degree in Psychology with specializations in Applied Behavior Analysis and Sport Psychology from Capella University; she earned her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Virginia. She has been working in the field of mental and behavioral health since 2004, where she began as a direct support professional with the ARC of the Piedmont, serving adults with various mental and physical disabilities. In 2005, she also began working with youth as a residential counselor at Jefferson Trail, a residential facility for youth with mental and behavioral disorders. Upon relocating to Northern Virginia, her work with youth continued in different mental health settings, until beginning her career in ABA as a behavior technician with Continuum in 2014. Her professional interests include: functional communication, social skills, and daily living skills.

RaShawn Jeffers is an enthusiastic Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst. She received a Bachelor’s degree in psychology from Argosy University and is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology. RaShawn has over 10 years of experience working with adults and children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder and other related disabilities. Her journey started in 2009 as an Autism Specialist in Washington, D.C. public schools. Her dedication to the field of Behavior Analysis led her to obtain the Registered Behavior Technician credential in 2015. Since then, she has provided direct behavioral support and behavioral consultation to clients in environments such as: day support, community, residential, and in-home settings. Her professional interest includes individualized treatment planning and teaching functional communication skills.
Tess McCormick, M.Ed., BCBA, LBA

Tess is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst with a Master’s in Special Education with a concentration in Autism and Applied Behavior Analysis from Texas State University. Tess began her ABA career in 2015 while working for the local community service board in Blacksburg, Virginia. Tess then moved to Austin, Texas in 2016 where she worked for ASPIRE, LLC as an RBT and then a BCBA. She moved back to Virginia at the beginning of 2021 and began her journey with Continuum!
Tess has experience working with clients aged from 2-30 years and varying levels of needs. She has worked in school, home, clinic, and community based settings with her clients and has provided services to clients with severe aggressive and self-injurious behaviors. Tess is passionate about problem behavior reduction, activities of daily living, and functional communication.
Leah Maddox, M.Ed, BCBA, LBA

Leah was born and raised in Northern Virginia and comes from a large family. She started working with children on the Autism Spectrum in 2008 at a local high school as an autism paraprofessional and earned her MEd in Special Education in 2018. Leah taught at an orphanage in China for the last 5 years and has provided ABA services both locally and there since the summer of 2017. Working with children who have special needs and their families/caregivers is her passion, and she looks forward to being a part of your journey!

Mumina Khan is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst. Mumina received her Bachelor’s in Psychology as well as her Master’s in Education from George Mason University. For her undergraduate degree, Mumina had a focus in Developmental Psychology. For her graduate degree, she had a focus in Special Education and Applied Behavioral Analysis. She has been with Continuum since 2018, working with individuals with developmental disabilities in multiple environments such as the home, school, community, and daycare.

Meghan Ello is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst. She is currently serving individuals and their families in the Northern Virginia area. She has worked with children and adolescents (ages 3-19) with Autism Spectrum Disorder and other developmental disabilities since 2017. She has experience working in a variety of settings including: home-based, clinic-based and school-based therapy. Meghan earned a Master of Science in Applied Behavior Analysis from Shenandoah University and a Bachelor of Science in Community Health from George Mason University.
Amber Froney, M.S., BCBA, LBA
Board Certified Behavior Analyst
Amber is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). She received her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from American Military University. During this time, she worked as an RBT and Program Coordinator for individuals with autism. Amber later obtained her Master of Science in Applied Behavior Analysis form Mary Baldwin University. She has been working in the ABA field since 2017 and has experience working with various ages. Amber also has experience working with individuals diagnosed with ASD in several different settings; clinic based, daycares, in-home, community, and in school settings. Amber believes that early intervention is key and the families role in the treatment process is very important for success. In her free time, Amber enjoys hiking in the mountains, horseback riding, her animals, and various craft projects.
Lindsey McCready, M.Ed., BCBA, LBA
Board Certified Behavior Analyst
Lindsey is a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst with a Master of Education degree in Special Education and a graduate certificate in Applied Behavior Analysis from George Mason University. Lindsey also holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology with a Minor in Linguistics from the University of Mary Washington.
Lindsey began her career in Applied Behavior Analysis in 2014 as a behavior technician with Continuum Autism Spectrum Alliance. Since then, she has accrued over 7 years of experience providing one-on-one behavior therapy in the home, school, clinic, and community settings to clients ranging from 3- 21 years of age that present with autism and/or other developmental disabilities. Lindsey is passionate about providing best practice and evidence-based interventions to all her clients.
Lindsey’s professional interests include teaching functional communication skills, fostering emotional regulation and self-management skills, and providing social skills training. Lindsey is a firm believer in using creativity and fun to enhance learning and strives to create an abundance of opportunities to pull reinforcing activities, items, and interactions into all sessions. She is passionate about creating personalized curriculums and behavior intervention plans tailored to each of her clients’ specific learning needs to best support them in reaching their full potential.
Lindsey’s personal interests include traveling and volunteering abroad, educating others about guinea pig care, and spending quality time with friends and family. When she is not working, she is most likely either curled up with a good book, experimenting with a new recipe in the kitchen, or spending time out on the water – like kayaking on the Potomac!
JoAnnie Hyden B.S., BCaBA
Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst
JoAnnie is a Board-Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst (BCaBA). She received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Psychology in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) from Purdue Global University. After her honorable discharge from the United States Air Force, JoAnnie enrolled in nursing school where she became passionate about mental health issues. JoAnnie entered the field of ABA in 2017, providing 1:1 service to children with autism spectrum disorder and developmental disabilities. Since then, JoAnnie has had the pleasure of working with clients with varying needs for support.
Bailey Jones ,B.A., BCaBA
Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst
Bailey Jones is a Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst. She received her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from West Virginia University where she completed her verified course sequence. During her undergraduate studies, she completed an internship at WVU Neurodevelopmental Center, where she first began working with children with ASD. Previously, she worked with adults with varying disabilities and geriatric Alzheimer’s patients. She now attends Florida Institute of Technology, where she is obtaining her Master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis. Bailey did 1:1 therapy as an RBT and worked as a BCaBA in clinic settings, in-home, and in school settings. Her professional interests include early intervention programming, sleep interventions, and trauma informed treatment and decisions.
Lynn Lieu, B.S., RBT
Registered Behavior Technician
Lynn Lieu is a Registered Behavior Technician. She entered the field of ABA in 2019 and has worked with children of all ages in the Northern Virginia area providing in-home and community-based services. Lynn recently graduated from George Mason University with a Bachelor’s degree in Clinical/Developmental Psychology and is currently completing her Master’s degree in Special Education with a specialization in Applied Behavior Analysis at GMU. She is very passionate about creating fun and engaging teaching environments to help those that she works with gain valuable skills!
Mikaela James, B.S., RBT
Registered Behavior Technician
Mikaela is a Registered Behavior Technician. She completed her Bachelor of Science in Neuroscience and Psychology at George Mason University. She began working in the field of ABA in 2020. Mikaela loves being able to work through challenges with clients and experience all the silly and fun moments that come with. She is currently working on her Master of Arts in Applied Behavior Analysis Practice through the Florida Institute of Technology in pursuit of becoming a BCBA.
