Autism Diagnosis, Autism Assessment, and Autism Treatment in New Jersey
Our staff of Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBA), Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analysts (BCaBA), Registered Behavior Technicians, and Instructors offer clinical and therapeutic services including evidence-based Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), program evaluations, parent training, early intervention, special education needs evaluations and special education help, BCBA supervision, daycare training and daycare consulting, and staff training to address the needs of those who present with signs or symptoms associated with Autism Spectrum Disorder and related developmental disabilities.
During our assessment process, each child receives a comprehensive functional assessment that identifies core deficits and problem behaviors that may be interfering with the child’s ability to learn and participate in daily life at home, school and in the community. Every child’s program is individualized to meet his or her needs, learning style and guided by what is developmentally expected.

Christine Crowell, M.A., BCBA
Ms. Christine Crowell is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst with a Master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis from the University of Maryland Baltimore County and a Bachelors degree in Psychology from McDaniel College. She has been consulting since 2007, and her previous training includes the assessment and treatment of challenging behavior at the Kennedy Krieger Institute, as well as, serving as behavior analyst for Matthew’s Center for Visual Learning. Ms. Crowell has also delivered presentations and training seminars at both local and international conferences.
Sabrina LeVan, M.S., CCC-SLP
Ms. Sabrina LeVan is a speech-language pathologist from Atlantic County, New Jersey. She received a Bachelor of Science degree in Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology and a Master of Science degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Stockton University. She holds her Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) and is licensed to practice in the State of New Jersey. She has worked as a speech-language pathologist in the public school system for the last 3 years. She is experienced in providing speech and language services to students with multiple disabilities and autism, including Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC). She is also experienced in evaluation and treatment in the areas of articulation, receptive and expressive language, pragmatic language, voice, and fluency. She has Clinical Fellowship supervisory experience. She cares about the clients she works with and is passionate about the field of speech-language pathology.
Christina Wrigley, CCC-SLP
Mrs. Christina Wrigley is a Speech-language Pathologist with a Bachelor of Science degree in Speech Pathology and Audiology from Stockton College, and a Master of Science degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from NOVA Southeastern University. She is licensed to practice in the state of New Jersey and holds her Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language Hearing Association (ASHA). She has worked as a speech pathologist in the local public school system for the last 14 years. Her experience includes providing services to children with multiple disabilities, autism, and non-verbal students. She is experienced in managing safe feeding and swallowing and in Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC). She has also worked as a case manager for the Preschool Disabled program and taught undergraduate level classes in Language Acquisition as an Adjunct Professor at Stockton College. Her previous training includes certification as a trainer for Non-violent Crisis Intervention and working as an in home provider of ABA. She has supervised numerous undergraduate and graduate level students in the field of Speech-language Pathology and provided supervision for working Speech-language Pathologists during their Clinical Fellowship year.
Michele Altomare, BCaBA
Ms. Michele Altomare is a Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst with a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Thomas Edison State University. She completed her post baccalaureate coursework in applied behavior analysis at Florida Institute of Technology. She began her career in 2012 as an ABA instructor providing 1:1 therapy to children with autism and other related disorders
in home and school based settings. Michele joined the Continuum team in 2014. Prior to working in the field of ABA she worked in the fields of Early Childhood Education and Special Education. Michele is also the Behavior Tech Manager for Continuum- NJ. She is responsible for scheduling NJ’s team of Behavior Technicians, as well as recruitment and training of new Behavior Technicians. Her professional interests include language acquisition, early intervention, natural environment teaching, and training others to implement ABA programs and techniques.
Rebecca Lasoski, M.A., BCBA
Ms. Rebecca Lasoski is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst who received her Masters Degree in Applied Behavior Analysis from Rowan University. Rebecca has over 8 years experience working with children, adolescence and adults diagnosed with autism, brain injuries and intellectual disabilities in home settings and residential placements. Her previous training includes the assessment and treatment of severe problem behavior, transition planning, and data based medication management while at Bancroft. Her professional areas of interest include parent training, interdisciplinary team collaboration, community based instruction, and functional analysis. Ms. Lasoski has presented research on a variety of topics including the assessment and treatment of ritualistic behavior at multiple national conferences.
Cristina D’Amelio, M.F.T., BCBA
Ms. Cristina D’Amelio is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst with a Master’s degree in Couple and Family Therapy from Drexel University and a post-Master’s certificate in Special Education with a concentration in Applied Behavior Analysis from the Pennsylvania State University. Her previous training includes working with behaviorally and emotionally distressed youth in a partial hospital setting with the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, as well as, family consultation in the Social Competency Program with the Center for Autism in Philadelphia. He professional areas of interest include functional behavior assessment, positive behavior supports and developing home programs that incorporate the entire family in their child’s successes.
Katherine Irwin, M.Ed., BCBA
Ms. Katherine Irwin is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst with a Master’s degree in Special Education from Stockton University and a post –Master certificate in Applied Behavior Analysis from Pennsylvania State University. Additionally she is a certified Special Education teacher who has been teaching locally for the past 11 years. Her experience includes working as the lead instructor in a classroom for emotionally disturbed middle school students as well as developing and maintaining a school based, Multiply Disabled/ABA program. Katherine’s professional interests include the blending of skills based instruction with academic content and the identification of the function and treatment of problem behavior. She enjoys sharing her experiences and techniques with her colleagues and interacting with professionals in varying fields of study in an effort to tailor interventions to a variety of different individuals with unique needs.
Suzanne Hughes, M.A., BCBA
Ms. Suzanne Hughes is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst with a Master’s Degree in Education and Applied Behavior Analysis from Temple University and a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology and Applied Behavior Analysis from Rowan University. She has worked in the field of Applied Behavior Analysis since 2007 with children, adolescents, and adults in residential, vocational, and educational settings. She has also delivered presentations and workshops at local and international conferences. Suzanne’s professional interests include the application of behavior analysis to health related behavior, social skills, community based instruction, transition to adulthood, and the functional assessment and treatment of problem behavior.
Kristina Barone, M.A., BCBA
Ms. Kristina Barone is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst and consultant with a Master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis from Georgian Court University and a Bachelors degree in Psychology from Rider University. She has been in the field of Applied Behavior Analysis for over three years and has recently joined our team. Before consulting as a Behavior Consultant she was a case manager for a DCP&P funded program and taught parent training classes.
