Providing Trauma-Informed Care

Our counseling services consist of a team of clinicians who support our clients by providing access to comprehensive and trauma-informed mental health therapy. Individualized counseling is available for children, teens, adults, and families. Services can be separate or in addition to our Applied Behavior Analysis services to provide comprehensive care.

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)

CBT is evidenced-based treatment that looks at thoughts, feelings and behaviors. By increasing the understanding of how you see and understand the world as well as the ways that you speak to yourself, your behaviors can shift.

DBT is a form of talk therapy that focuses on addressing negative emotions and thinking. The goal is to transform negative thinking into positive outcomes. There are four key areas of focus: mindfulness, distress tolerance, emotional regulation, and interpersonal effectiveness.

Services can be provided to the individual child, caregivers, members of the family, or any combination that works best for you. Sessions aim to educate families about any new diagnoses and improve relationships with positive communication strategies.
