Jackie is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) who joined Continuum Behavioral Health in December of 2019. She has been working in Northern Virginia as a BCBA since 2017 and has been working in the field since January of 2011. Miss Cunningham earned her bachelor’s degree in Psychology in 2011 at West Virginia University. While working on her undergraduate degree she started in the field of ABA while assisting a doctoral student with her research on Vocal Variability in children with Autism. This experience sparked Jackie’s interest in the field and she began working at the Center for Excellence in Disabilities in the intensive Autism Clinic. After completing her bachelor’s degree she continued to work for the intensive Autism Clinic as a graduate assistant supervisor while working on her master’s degree. While completing her master’s degree, she also completed the WVU Center For Excellence in Disabilities Leadership Education in Neurodevelopmental Disabilities (LEND) program where she worked with a multidisciplinary team helping children with feeding and swallowing difficulties, communication deficits, and children and families going through transitional periods in their lives. In 2015 Jackie earned her master’s degree completing the Behavior Analysis in Autism Certificate at University of Massachusetts Lowell. In February of 2017 she received her Board Certification in Applied Behavior Analysis. For the past 9 years, Jackie has been providing ABA services to children in homes and in clinic settings who have been diagnosed with autism spectrum disorders, intellectual disabilities, and genetic disorders.
