Being an army brat, Jazette “Jaz” Perry grew up in several cities and military bases up and down the east coast as well as Europe. She has been living in the Northern Virginia area for almost ten years now, attending George Mason University to obtain her B.A. in Psychology and her M.S in Special Education with a concentration in Applied Behavior Analysis. Jaz stumbled upon the field of ABA during undergrad and worked as an RBT for a privately owned clinic, working with children and young adults diagnosed with Autism aged 2-23 in homes, clinics, schools, and the community, and fell in love with the field. After completing her supervision hours and passing the board exam, Jaz transitioned into the role of a BCBA in 2019 and has been working to better the lives of children, young adults, and their families since. Outside of work, Jaz enjoys drawing and painting, having almost attended art school, as well as writing. She also enjoys trying new foods and restaurants in the area, and adding to her music library. Her professional interests include early intervention, as well as developing communication and social skills.
