Megan is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst who received a Masters degree in Special Education with a specialization in Applied Behavior Analysis from George Mason University. She has worked with individuals on the spectrum and other developmental disabilities for nearly ten years. Her interest in behavior analysis developed while she studied her undergraduate degree at Liberty University. She joined Continuum’s team in 2016 as a Behavior Technician before moving into a senior consultant position in 2020. In her free time, Megan enjoys integrating her passion for education and travel through humanitarian efforts in impoverished countries around the world. Her experience in cross-culture environments has given her a unique opportunity to appreciate cultural diversity and develop a cultural responsiveness to diverse populations. Additionally, Megan is an advocate for suicide prevention and works with several non-profit organizations to raise awareness in Virginia on the importance of teaching evidence-based suicide prevention programs in schools and in communities.
Megan is an active member of the Virginia Association for Behavior Analysts, Association for Contextual Behavioral Science, American Foundation for Suicide Prevention, Mental Health America, and the National Alliance for Mental Illness.
